Volunteer as a Music Therapist
MPM offers volunteer Music Therapists a chance to work in Uganda alongside our Ugandan Music Counselor for a suggested minimum of three months. This allows the volunteer time to strike up a relationship with our Ugandan Music Counselor in order to offer her supervision and further professional training from a position of trust and respect. It also allows the volunteer Music Therapist time to soak in the Ugandan culture and learn enough about MPM and work in this culture to go home and inform others about the work that MPM does. Volunteer opportunities could potentially occur at any time of year depending on the availability of a member of the MPM team to organise it.

Contribute Financially
It costs MPM £130 per month to emply Acen Betty, our Ugandan Music Counsellor.
A set of musical instruments donated to a school to enable the music therapy program costs £100.
Contributions to support a volunteer Music Therapist working in Uganda for three months costs £300.
